most of this stuff doesn't even register with them unless they see their parents freak out about it

at least this reboot seems to have some connection to the original. I keep seeing this party of 5....but with Mexicans advertising. Other than the name, seems to have no connection to the original. Why even call it that?

Its tough though. You want to explain to them what it is without creating a bias, even though I have a bias. My 10 year old daughter came home and told me that one of her friends is bi. I asked her what that meant and she didn't know. I explained to her what it was and she had no reaction. How can a 10 year old grasp this concept? I don't think they can.

The gay/lesbian thing is easier to explain and its not a big deal to see two guys dancing together at prom in a movie.

This just seems like falling over backwards to pander to certain groups so their show doesn't completely fail. SBTB didn't need a reboot, and the whole idea sounds horrible.
