Only 2 that I know of have crashed, and it is because they get hit by lightning. One in New Mexico and the other in Brazil. At least that is the hypothesis, because again, no one really knows.

We went from the Model T to dropping to nukes on Japan in a short period of time. It’s going to be hard for some people but different civilizations are out there, do people really think Earth is the only planet with intelligent life?

Another rabbit hole is looking into what they are now finding out about pottery and sculptures recovered from ancient Egypt. Some of them are so symmetrical we do not possess the technology to reproduce them even today.
Not to mention that they made a lot of stuff out of granite(interior of pyramids) Only thing that can cut granite is diamond on this planet, and no diamonds were found at the excavation sites.

We know what we need to about lab rats and continue to experiment on them anyway.
We do so because our technology and intelligence puts us above them on the food chain and we don’t worry much about their feelings.
If a technologically superior race experiments on us because they can (aka natural law) they might share a similar perspective.
It’s actually one area of overlap that I have with PETA.

I have a more simplistic view of pyramid construction. If you take the most readily available resource (in this case stone) and you focus an entire the entire planet on using it, you’ll very quickly develop techniques for cutting, moving and manipulating it to satisfy your building needs. Cultures share information and techniques between them and the process becomes further refined. We’ve done the same thing with wood, coal, oil and other resources. as that’s happened we’ve moved away from old tech and in the process lost the knowledge that encompassed it.

I agree. I also don’t think the modern age has expended much energy in reverse engineering the the Pyramid design. Our best and brightest are on many many other more important problems. In short: “who cares?”
