Gonna fry up some ground turkey, add a taco packet, add cheese…

Might eat an orange. Might not.

Peeled a kiwi with a spoon earlier- one of very few legit hacks I saw on YouTube.

I’m at work. Made a chicken caprese skillet that was a hit. No leftovers.

That sounds delicious DT!

SH- my child and my niece have been doing the cut in half scoop out with a spoon instead of peeling method lately. Seems easy.

ETA- Hi Fred

It really is! Apparently you can peel ginger with a spoon too, haven’t tried that one yet.

I’ll have to look that up… I had a watermelon once that was yellow inside.

Grabbed a couple of tomatoes that had split from all this rain. Two BLTs on sourdough.

Pistachio almond ice cream on deck.

Tito’s & Tonic and half a cup of mixed nuts.

Will officially eat grilled burgers and Homade french fries later on.

I’m looking forward to that after some pool time.

My stove looked like a casino buffet plate- 1 enchiladas, 1slice of pizza, 2 small pork chops, and a baked potato cut in half

About to go chop and put the raw French fries through a few water soaks.

Now I’m Propagating inheritable ACEs on my stupid computer after clearing some file errors. Almost time for a new one.

Which sounds sorta kinky but sadly, it’s not.

We are leaving strawberry season and just heading into peach season.

South Carolina > Georgia

Buy from the grower if you can, grocers get the lesser quality

Avoid the West Coast peaches. They are more apple than peach.

Kentucky has all kind of yummy cheese spreads

Benedictine = high tea crowd

Beer = working class crowd

Benedictine sandwiches are typically served as a type of tea sandwich or finger sandwich, with crusts trimmed and the sandwich cut into four pieces, either fingers or triangles, to make them convenient to eat with one hand.

See them a lot with the horsey set in Louisville and Lexington

I think it goes back to around the War of Northern Aggression and I remember my grandmother making them when I was a kid (she was mid 1800's and cooked all the really good food of my childhood).
