I noticed this a couple of weeks ago in Birmingham as well. Also all along I-20/59 last weekend. It went out for about 20 seconds in Hattiesburg, but most of the other times it was only a few seconds. I thought maybe the station I was on had stopped broadcasting or had technical issues but I flipped around my presets and they were all like that. It also cut out for a few seconds Saturday night listening to the LSU game in the 3rd quarter. I was on I-55 then. So there shouldn't have been any interference from trees or buildings.

I lose signal on Kaliste Saloom everyday heading home. It really only happens when I listen to CNBC radio.. It is very annoying

Yes they're are definitely dead spots. Certain parts of town (where there are no buildings or trees) always lose connection even on days with no clouds. I'm not sure what the deal is, but its aggravating as hell.

Yes. About two to three weeks ago I started losing signal about a mile from my office on I-10 here in Houston. Never dropped out before and I have been at this location for three years. It comes back but there is a 1/4 mile there where it just goes away.
