Proud of my wife. Our 9 year old has been asking to many questions and the right questions. We could no longer deflect the truth. So we told him. Then my wife wrote this letter to him. I could not be more proud of her and how she explained it.

Are you giving a 2 weeks notice or telling your kid something he already know. Look him in the eye and tell him.

How are you going to break the news to him about The Stork and mommy's vagina?

I can respect that. Good job on your wife.

Y’all could have told him all of this in the first place, but good job.

A friend's kid just busted the Tooth Fairy with his game cam. Kid is 9. That's what happens when you try to play the game too long.

from what I have seen, kids pretty much find out the truth from others once they start school. they just start asking questions when they get bold and want to make you squirm. I say that if they want to be a little a-hole, two can play at that game.

He's "mature enough" yet has to be told there is no Santa. Does not compute. Bar is low for being proud of your wife.

Lol. I just desided to never tell my kids. My parents never told me and I grown out of it at the same age everyone else did, and I never cared that my parents did so.

Now since my youngest is 8, I get a kick out of them prenteding that they still belive. Its just so great the extent my kids go through to make me still belive so. They still make my Christmas very magical, they have great spirit. And to them it is about jesus's birthday first, and they let me know that all the time.

So yall are getting tired of lying to the kid, so yall finally come clean?

Why just not go along with the bullshite lie in the first place? I hated how my parents and relatives kept me believing in santa, and I got santa shamed in school for it. Is it really that fun for a parent to lie to their kid about a fake being watching over them and judging them?

Also dem college students can be very mean when you tell them that Santa IS reel.
