Good for them

Do the cops need a safe space from Colins microaggressions? What a bunch of babies who are the most entitled arrogant group in this country.

Your a fricking idiot. You sound like a pussy arse little bitch. It's a voluntary detail you fricking moron. Go suck kaepernicks dick
Posted on 9/3/16 at 7:38 pm to Street Hawk
This would be stupid on the police's part.
Posted on 9/3/16 at 7:42 pm to Street Hawk
frick them then.
You are essentially saying frick you to the town you serve.
Fire them all if they go through with it.

Not at all on Kap's side but if they follow through with this then I just might be.
Being and office is an honor and privilege; you're better than this BS. People have died fighting for our right to do stupider shite than CK. And besides, CK is less than 1% of the people they're "serving."

Why? It's not part of their job. It's a business relationship. And it's profitable for the cops who work the detail, so there's a sacrifice involved.

Now before us OR ELSE!!
Seems Kap is winning by showing just what busybodies the nation is. We have become a nation of people constantly trying to make others live a certain way. The land of the offended.

I bet this is the type of gig police make $25 an hour doing off duty. So yeah, they'll find plenty of willing cops.

Good. They shouldn't provide security for him or ever answer his 911 calls.

Seriously this is your response? These people willingly take extra shift at a high stress event for the good of the public. They deserve some respect.
That's not even getting into the sacrifices that the actual military make

Sounds like the SC Police need their safe spaces to work too, otherwise they get their feelings hurt and can't function.
How is that any better than CK?

Maybe I missed the part where they were disrespected?
Unless you want to go the route of the flag represents them. We have freedom of speech in this country. If they can't handle someone having a different opinion perhaps they need another career.

I guess he wore some socks that had pictures of pigs wearing police uniforms..

So now, both Kaepernick and the cops are being retarded.

So what if not working the game is their way of protesting. Sounds like you have an issue with the PD but not CK.
Perhaps either party should try and open up a dialogue instead of symbolic protests.

They should just shut up and collect their paychecks.

Any NFL QB garners more attention than an average joe on the corner so let's not pretend he's not bigger. And where I do have a problem with this display is that CK is using the NFL/49ers as a stage to send his message. It's not his place to do so and the league and team shouldn't stand for it. If he chooses to send a message outside of work then that's his prerogative, but when part of an organization does something and the CEO does nothing, then the repercussions will follow. The police have an association that responded in the like. Had CK displayed his discontent on the street out of uniform, the police union wouldn't be involved.
