Unless you want to go the route of the flag represents them. We have freedom of speech in this country. If they can't handle someone having a different opinion perhaps they need another career.

Exactly, we have freedom of speech. If they want to exercise that speech by not showing up at a voluntary security detail outside of their normal work hours to secure the stadium, perhaps that shitty QB needs to reevaluate his actions.

Pussy cops. He was mean, so we're not going to do our job of protecting and serving. Even if you disagree with ck, protesting is an American right. They government isn't supposed to not do their job because they were offended. No better than the sjws people bitch about.

Sort of agree.

Big surprise that cops don't want to support the constitution.

They are sworn to serve the public when they are on their scheduled shifts. Not when they're considering a voluntary security detail.
Nice cop out.

So are the cops going to be in uniform or not at the game? /discussion

The constitution prohibits congress from passing a law abridging the freedom of speech.

Big surprise that a tard on the OT has no idea what the Constitution says or means.

It's a voluntary security detail. What does it matter whether or not they wear a uniform? It isn't an assigned shift, it's in excess of the full time hours they've already worked. It's no different than them working a detail at Walmart or at at a weddding. They are paid by the person needing the detail, not the agency or taxpayer.

The stadium is responsible for providing security in the building. If the actions of the players impede that ability, or end up costing substantially more money, it's simply a consequence they'll have to deal with.

But why argue, from your previous statement about the constitution, it's clear that you're out of your league here.

bet this is the type of gig police make $25 an hour doing off duty.

They make $25/hr working a dance at some backwoods American Legion hall. I expect the NFL pays much more.

Could you link to the section of the Constitution that addresses the obligation of a public servant to accept paid side work assignments from a private, for profit entity? I've been out of school for decades so my memory's a little fuzzy.

I guess the above poster is correct in that it's a overtime detail. It's within their right, but it is immature.

Oh so the idiot thug QB is not immature????

Sounds like they aren't going to be at the game. Which is there right not to work a detail they don't want to work. Should black officers be required to work details at KKK rallies?

I just don't understand what kaep is protesting. Is he saying that there are laws in place to oppress minorities?
