Neither. I was glad when Gustav knocked out out power, making the fish go belly up, and giving me an excuse to get rid of the giant pain in the arse.

I have a 55 gallon freshwater live planted tank. I would love to get into salt, but I don't have the money or time to mess around with it.

When making a choice between the two its best to figure out how much time and money you want to devote to the hobby.

What are you looking to do?

Goldennugget. Was terrified of Mexican bass, though.

I have a 55 gallon and a 20 gallon saltwater tanks. I spend time weekly maintaining both tanks. It's time consuming, but I do enjoy seeing my corals grow out.

Down to just a 75 gallon fresh inside. I basically have been using it as a grow out tank for goldfish and koi

I have a pond outside for said goldfish and koi

I have been feeding my daughters betta while she is at camp, so I feel like I belong in here.

Been considering doing a small pond, I was looking at the preformed pond inserts at the HomeDepot.

I've got a pretty sweet 5 gal freshwater setup...

Got some rainbows, a honey gourami, and an adorable pair of cory cats named Wayne and Garth.

Thinking about getting a Tutti Fruity frog.

It's basically an aquatic wonderland in there.

Planted and Discus both I have had little luck with, damn pH issues and water parameters are tough even compared to salt.

Depending on the amount of room you have, I would do a dig and use a pond liner as the base so you can make it whatever size you want

Mine is around 10 feet by 8 feet. Deepest part is around 22 inches

Oh yes, I remember now, I check in on Bayou Reef keeper and Southeast Louisiana Reef both are not very active. Some on Facebook but I try to avoid Facebook as much as possible.
