One would assume that both of them have also thrown every bit of clothing that contains cotton away, right? Along with a promise to never buy anything containing cotton again, right?

Did he recently come under fire for this or just randomly felt the need to issue a public apology?

His virtue score was falling behind his peers so he needed to up his game a bit.

"repatterning and challenging lifelong social conditioning"
Write that shite down somewhere, You're gonna hear a lot more of it.

why can’t places that were once places of atrocity now be used as a place to embrace love. Adapt and move forward. Take them over as a place where people come together rather than being torn apart.
Because if we recognize the greatness of our country and the strength we share together as free people it is detrimental to the ruling class and their ruthless and corrupt career in power gluttony.

Tears streamed down his face. He won victory over himself. He loved Big Brother.

Boone Hall is nice. Very active farm and they host festivals throughout the year. Very charitable family too.

I'm going to do this. See, my whole life, I was taught by muh TV that anything done by black people was just inherently that much more hip. I'm going to turn the tables. White is the new black. White is cool.

Unless there were black people working the fields, it isn't actually a plantation. It's just a word. If the name was "Boone Hall Gardens" instead, he would have chugged along as normal.

The city of Charleston would really hurt for wedding tourism if cancel culture comes for plantations. Magnolia Plantation and Boone Hall are two elite wedding venues

He comes off as a bitch that is trying to stay relevant.

He’s ate up with the white guilt, poor bastard doesn’t have a chance

I expect Justin Bieber to apologize for his wedding next.
He got married at Palmetto Bluff, another former South Carolina plantation.
His wedding disrupted my weekend getaway that I had planned for months down there. That son of a bitch.

Not to mention their tours and field trip programs are heavily focused on the brutality of the enslavement that occurred there. They very openly acknowledge their history and make sure you know about it.
Ryan Reynolds is acting like they just beat around the bush about the fact it was a plantation. The slave quarters are usually in the background of the wedding pictures for crying out loud.

I don't see anything bad with taking something society now deems wrong and doing something good with it.
Imagine all the shite that went down in castles and such around the world, yet people still flock to them and celebrate them.

A part of me wants to believe that this comment invalidates his apology, on purpose, because he is a trademarked smart-arse.

If he's really sorry he'd let me sleep with his wife.

I assume all these actors never travel to Germany because of the history of Nazi Germany.

I also really hope they didn't choose to go to Rome for the honeymoon...
or really anywhere in Europe
