From what I've heard about the Russians in Syria, they're using them against everyone not behind Assad.

Here is the thing about treaties, banned weapons and "international condemnation" - that shite don't matter if you DGAF. At this point in time, I don't think the Russians care one bit what everyone else thinks and their very politically astute President/Dictator/HMFIC knows that people actually love what he is doing.

Good, wish they would use it on the rest of the region.

Speaking of Russia not giving a frick....

RUSSIA plans to station advanced nuclear-capable missiles deep inside Europe - putting vast swathes of the continent in the crosshairs of Moscow's short-range ballistic missile programme

for those who don't know where Kaliningrad is located...

Yeah, they're not there to fight ISIS, per say. They're there to destroy any rebel factions including U.S. trained/backed forces.

What do you expect? Have you seen the dashcam videos on Youtube? I would never hire Russian movers.

A lot of you in this thread don't understand why this is a serious issue. The Russian Air Force has been dropping cluster and incendiary munitions in populated areas where innocent lives are present. This is disgusting even for Russian standards.

Yeah, because children being maimed and killed by mines 20 years after a war has ended is just awesome.

Dude those bombs were freestock. They had to use em. New bombs are expensive. When they have warehouses of already paid for ordinance. When dropping into a sand box use the cheap shite

Disgusting by Russian standards? Hell, this is par for the course for them.

How soon we forget.

The Russians dropped cluster munitions in Afghanistan disguised as toys (the youngsters may not even know they were there before us).

the germans should just roll in and take that region back. it's historically part of prussia, they have every right! use the same justification that putin used for taking crimea.

Silly media. That;s not "banned bombs", they are "glass making heating elements". Turning the sands of the desert into glass 1 airdrop at a time. Terrorist remains included, no extra charge.

Technically not a violation of the CCW/Geneva Conventions as ISIS is not a signatory to either.

We shot willie pete all the time in Iraq in '03 during the invasion. They were supposed to be for "marking targets" or as a "smoke screen". What is the difference from white phosphorus and incendiary rounds? Thought they did the same thing. I did see the effects of the willie pete, that is some bad stuff.

This is false. The use of incendiary weapons is not banned. Its just not allowed to be used against civilians or dropped from the air against military targets within civilian areas, which russia may be doing, but these photos prove nothing.

The hollow point ban has always baffled me.
