You quoted scripture referring to end times and the rise of the anti-Christ.
I believe these things are happening.
This site never fails to entertain. Holy shite, thank you for this.

I need to see proof that Isaiah was written before the fall of Jericho.
TIA

Ok. We don't think you're correct.

I cant teleport you back in time, but I can refer you to middle eastern history.

That was an evolutionist who used that link to define what irreducible complexity was. Peazey did it actually. I just used it as a definition of what irreducible complexity was. I actually just quoted Darwin.

Ok, where is the evidence that the prophecy in Isaiah was written down before Jericho and not after the fact.

A way to bridge the gap of god and science is to look at it like our life and existence is a part of a computer program that God wrote. He programmed the science: evolution, physics, math, etc. He made it all work in his program that he has planned out from the begining. So everything we know and will find out was all ready coded so to speak

Well articulated. I agree fully.

Again, I refer you to middle eastern history. If you argue the fall of Jericho I may as well say dogs don't come from wolves. It is ignorant.

People always say they think the end of the world is near. I been hearing this as far back as I can remember. A lot of people say the world is getting worse. I don't understand how. I'd rather live in today's world than at any point from WWII and before.
The population is much bigger so with more people there will be more crimes, etc, but we also hear about everything that goes on today. Imagine if there was twitter in the 19th century. Humans show a lot more empathy today than ever before.

So your only point about indisputable prophecy is the fall Jericho?

to me...this is just a really convenient way of saying "no matter what scientist find or discover, it will never change my belief because God did it"
which is fine, I guess
its just a really convenient way of looking at things

My only point? You mean the only verified prophesy not dealing with Jesus? It's something atheists love to conveniently ignore.
Oh yeah, this prophet of God predicted the fall exactly as it happened ~700 years before it happened.
Lucky guess

I'm not arguing against the fall of Jericho. I'm asking how you know the prophecy was written down before it fell and not afterwards.
frick you're dense.

Well that is basically the definition of faith.
I've always thought evangelical Christian's need to distort science to fit their narrative was a sign of a lack of underlying faith.
There is an immense amount of insecurity shown in denying reality because you feel like your faith falls apart in the face of reality.

The truth usually is convenient

I'm just trying to figure out why you threw down the random obviously allegorical passage from Daniel in a discussion of undeniable prophecies.
I don't reject religion, I just also don't think you can prove it.

And you are dense. Middle eastern history includes Judaism, Islam, and Christianity.
If the Muslims aren't trying to dispute it, it can't be disputed.
You guys and your fedora clique are the only people arguing the timelines.
