Well he lives in St Charles Parish and works in JP.

Not sure what this has to do with Orleans.

It was an issue of self defense that law enforcement found to be legit. Yes, he did end up firing a shot through his own arm and into his leg while trying to defend himself.

I agree with the law, but didn't I read 6' 3" 240# somewhere?

She was probably banging the dude on the float who threw the beads to her

One of his original tweets said the parade had stopped for 5min, and his gf was looking down & someone threw a bag of beads at her with some force

Now I don’t know what happened, this guy obviously overreacted. But float riders can be douches too. That isn’t uncommon

Some guy next to me got hit yesterday and was bitching. I told him that it is on you to defend yourself when on the parade route. People complain when the floats don’t throw but then complain when they do and someone gets hit. If you don’t want to pay attention, step off the front rows and go to the back where shite isn’t flying.

I will say that Thoth riders are some of the biggest dicks of all the parades.

I got hit with more shite while looking away or talking to someone during the Thoth parade more than any other parade. It became comical that when we were watching and paying attention nothing was thrown our way but when we weren’t looking we’d get hit.

We would also watch those a-hole doing it to other guys and gals that were looking away.

So I kinda believe him when he says someone through a bag of beads.

Also, Thoth was the only parade I notice the riders were throwing full bag of beads to the crowd, which I thought they made that against the rules this year.

Eta: and we were standing in the back on the new sidewalk going through the neutral ground on Napoleon.

I’m not defending him. The stuff he put on Twitter is embarrassing. & what he did at the parade even more embarrassing

It’s just not uncommon to see people act like asses on floats. I’ve seen dudes pulled off numerous times by law enforcement. The fact they think they are untouchable can be infuriating when they get away with stuff like that

If I saw that douchecanoe standing there in his skinny jeans and white loafers I'd do something to piss him off too.

I've seen riders tag team people by having the first one throw high to get someone to jump and the second try to drill them when they were looking for the first throw.

Most krewes have spotters along the route pretending to be spectators. Their job is to watch for dangerous/inappropriate behavior.

That was SUPPOSED to be the rule.

You didn't go to Proteus tonight? Those drunk old frickers were chucking entire Yards of cups in the pack and entire bags of beads. One guy hit a very young 9-year old girl on a ladder next to me. Very early on the route at Nap/Chestnut.

We used to have jokes about dirty knees, but I’ve never seen anyone blow the knees out of their pants
