Just like the Scouts, today's believers are having to pay for the sins of yesterday's heathens.

This type of situation will be more and more common in the future, for example, the national debt, and all of the unfunded pension liabilities, public and private, social security, etc.

I spent two there and I would say Islam is objectively fricking whack. I don't really have alot of questions about that.

TBH, if you'd spent time in the Balkans in the nineties or Northern Ireland in the seventies, you'd likely feel the same way about Christianity.
