Just walked up and got a wristband which allegedly means there are enough tix left to buy today. However, line is a mile long at 1130 am. May leave and come back in a few hours to buy the tix...

Yep.
Had to go to a meeting near downtown just before 3 PM. Afterwards, stopped by the Dome to check it out. The line was only about half the length of one side of the Dome; guy right at the front of the line about ready to buy tix said he had only waited about 45 mins. in line.
Got my wristband, got in line. 40 mins. later, had my two tix.
And some people camped out all night in the cold to buy the SAME DAMN TICKETS.

Saw them on that tour, one of my co-workers keep calling it the "Steel Wheelchair Tour" as in they are so old why do they bother touring.

I went to the '78 Dome show as well, also went to the '75 PMAC show. I was happy to see them play back then but I am not shelling out over $185 per ticket to see them again!

This just in: The Stones aren’t the only band playing at Jazz Fest on May 2nd. There are a few others.

Friend of mine works near the dome. Yesterday, he walked to the box office around 10a. No one in line. Was able to buy 4. Called me, asked if I would be in for two. Sure. He told another friend who went at lunch and they were out.
