I love how on social media everyone has become narcissistic, condescending medical experts in the last 24 hours.

God forbid 100% of 350 million people don’t have the same opinion.

I have a masters degree in nursing, so I do consider myself formally educated on the subject. Especially having worked a significant amount of time in labor and delivery.

ETA: when I initially decided to pursue nursing, my intent was to become a midwife. I did not because I knew being pro-life would likely create a ton of friction somewhere along the journey.

I wasn’t attacking you. I was speaking on this comment

Shows me how ignorant you are when it comes to women's health.

I’m sure there are hundreds and hundreds more comments like this throughout this thread and the poli board.

Oh. Sorry about that. I wasn't sure so I just wanted to offer an explanation.

It will probably start with civil suits related to aiding and abetting which I believe several states have been considering. I would not be surprised to see it criminalized to leave the state with an unborn child and return without. If you do that with a born child someone would have some questions for you, so if life is life what's the difference? Again, a sizable chunk of pro-lifers equate abortion with murder, and state borders are not going to stop them from pushing the limits of the system. There are many ways to innovate here.

Agreed. People who decide to put themselves in a position to require an abortion for reasons that don't meet the standard of necessary should decide to live in a state that allows for extreme and grotesque measures to avoid the consequences of their actions. And maybe they should stay in that state and live happily ever after. #endpurplestates

Expect most people forced to have an abortion are poor and can’t afford to do that…. and state politics shouldn’t be dominated by a single party. Goes against what the founding fathers wanted. Diverse political opinion is important even if you don’t agree lol

State politics should be dominated by a political spectrum befitting the citizens. Imagine battling people you agree with 80% of the time instead of ones that seemingly want to destroy your life 100% of the time. The founders would fricking kill most politicians today, and would happily let many citizens perish without thinking twice, so I'm not sure you invoked their wishes with a straight face in this context.

But Federal laws should be dominated by the decision of 9 SC Justices rather than the people voted to make laws by over 250,000 million people of voting age in this country?

Don't like it...change it in Congress.

Why does it make liberals so mad when they can't just change the constitution without actually amending it?

And you literally called me Hitler. Lol GFY

You do get that Hitler wanted to kill blacks and gays and Jews because they would grow up inferior to him, right? Youre right there, sport

I was the youngest of 3 kids. I remember a local church bringing groceries to our door. My dad had to go live with mu uncles in Michigan to find work. My mom worked the night shift at a factory and got home just in time to get us off to school. We were very poor

I was the first person on both sides of my family to get a college degree, and have now created a new path for my family

But you would have wanted me to be aborted because, poor

The Hitler comparison was accurate

Wow. The blood thirsty progressive left thinks of human babies as house flies.

Except people that are too poor to have a child or are not in a position to actually care for a child. Which an early abortion is better than a fatherless child growing up in terrible economic conditions that statistically leads to more crime.
Also in cases of incest and rape….
