Repeal the Ninth Amendment then, because it says that enumeration does not matter with regards to personal Liberty. The constitution protects both enumerated and unenumerated rights.

Once again overturning RvsW does not outlaw abortion federally. You baby killer proponents are being very obtuse about this. There will be numerous states where abortions will continue to be done.

No rights, enumerated or unenumerated are being taken away by the feds with this decision

You are joking right? Toss more money? A solution from the simple.

How has the War on Poverty worked out? It has been 55 years or so and you want to double down?

Guess what, limiting govt assistance will do more for the poor than acclimating them to a subsistance existence. I know you think they are too pitiful to do for themselves, but they can. Potential consequences are a great motivator.

Christian charities do some good things for the poor. I imagine most would prove your opinion debatable. Not to mention of course the personal giving of people of all ideologies.

But I know you meant more government control of personal income.

So, now we’re pretending that the Fourteenth Amendment doesn’t exist?

I'm asking you what is incredibly difficult in getting an abortion?

Louisiana's trigger law, signed by former Gov. Kathleen Blanco, goes into effect once Roe v. Wade is overturned. The law bans most abortions and criminalizes the act of providing an abortion, except in some instances.

The substance of your argument was “it’s not being banned at the Federal level, it’s only going back to the States”. With the Ninth Amendment legal rationale for regarding first trimester abortions as a Common Law right that would have been recognized by the Founders, your argument that “it’s just going back to the States” is impeded by the fact that the Fourteenth Amendment’s doctrine of incorporation binds the Bill of Rights upon the States as much as the Federal government.

This was going to happen anyway, and Roe has little to do with it.

Once mail in voting was entrenched in 2020, that was that. Makes ballot harvesting very, very easy.

This is a perfect example of a word salad that isn't saying a damn thing. Abortion is not illegal at the federal level bud. Period

I'm pretty sure he just repealed most of the 10th amendment with this logical rollercoaster.

I’ll spell it out in 3 sentences

1. There’s a Ninth Amendment argument for recognizing many unenumerated rights.

2. With regards to the Bill of Rights, the Fourteenth Amendment has bound the States to the Ninth Amendment as much as the Federal government.

3. Empowering a State government to infringe on the Ninth Amendment is itself an injury on the Fourteenth Amendment’s protection of due process rights with regards to the States.
