But the absolute hypocrisy I see from both sides in the issue is nauseating, and it’s even more frustrating something like abortion gets so much damn political air time when the truth is deep down everyone really agrees

I always kinda thought everyone was secretly happy with it. The republicans got to call dems baby killers while both sides also understood the grey area of certain situations that could need a pregnancy termination. I don’t think any group was “pro abortion” as in wanted to get pregnant so they could abort. It’s not a fun thing to go through. Sad, humiliating and complicated scenarios.
