How long til somebody causes a wreck with a 2x10 sticking out that compartment behind the seats.

Not gonna lie. I like the looks of the SUV.

Could be great for hunting. Just slip in silent. Like the off-road golf carts, I doubt they can challenge the real thing. And what happens when you run out of juice in the middle of no where?

Truck styling kind of revolves around a big grill, which is useless when you don't have a radiator.

Understood but a flat plastic front and a middle light bar looks bad IMO. Tacoma is a good looking light duty truck.

True truck owners want a vehicle they'd be proud to hang nuts off. The styling of the Rivian truck puts it more in Ridgeline territory than Tacoma which should worry Rivian.

Is the Drag reduction really that significant when comparing Rivian to a Taco or Colorado?

Bigger question, what happens to battery performance when you add a lift kit, brushbar, and AT's?

Why do electric vehicle manufacturers think they need some sort of "revolutionary" look for their vehicles to be a success?

No traditional grill means better aerodynamics.

I admit to seemingly being outvoted on the design choice. IMHO there are ways to improve look and not compromise the aero as much.

I just can't help to think this truck looks like a prop vehicle from "Demolition Man"
