politics board is 95% conservative. this board is probably 75% conservative.

while i engage on both boards, most of the politics on OTL are culture war stuff or shitty LA politicians doing shity LA politician things. People dogging on Biden or Trump don't really belong here. i try to keep purely RvD opinions off this board, but do admit to being goaded into it sometimes.

i.e. Crazy left politician says "parents shouldn't have a say in their kid's schooling. i'm going to engage in that conversation and not apply it to every single person that voted democrat and make that a Biden thing.

Poliboard has lots of frogs. This is a total normie board.

There are posters over there who used to be fairly reasonable who have gone completely around the bend. The OT is a much more sober and deliberative board than the poliboard now. That is an astonishing turn.

I think we’d all be happier if we could admit that we’re collectively the most retarded forum on the internet. I accept it and revel in it, why can’t everyone else? I love both boards btw

For context, Reagan and the Bushes are leftists per poli talk. Rush Limbaugh was a moderate. It is all relative.

Remember the one whackjob of your town in the 80's and 90's that drove around in a vehicle loaded with political bumper stickers? That's the poliboard now. Only thing that's different is the amount of people that now feel the need to virtue signal with 500 political bumper stickers on their Subaru Outbacks and F-250s.

there was a post maybe 18 months ago from the BR reddit being critical of TD. it made its way on here and one post was something about how they went to the OT one time and on it they were attacking a BR politician, discussing truck nuts, and asking if a fish tank was trashy or not
