RIP Robin's Nest

That's a wrap! The iconic Magnum P.I. residence known as the 'Robin's Nest' was demolished over the weekend.
The 8,900-square-foot Waimanalo mansion was torn down after a demolition permit was issued for the property last month. Drone video taken over the weekend showed the most of the property in pieces.
There are no structures remaining on the site, which has been surround with black construction fencing while crews remove the rest of the debris.
Plans for the demolition were first made in 2015, when the property was sold for $8.7 million. The historic estate was said to be 'in need of major repair' at the time of the listing.
The Magnum P.I. house was built in 1933 and has been a famous landmark in Hawaii. It was also used as a filming location various movies and television shows, including Hawaii-Five-O.
The future plans for the property are currently unknown.

Oh man. Magnum PI is my favorite show of all time. Still wish I could be as cool and carefree as he was. Grown arse man living it up in Hawaii with 17 bucks in his pocket, beer in the fridge, eating hot dogs and staying in shape... oh and a new babe every week. He was living the dream! RIP Robins Nest.
