RIP Ozzy.

This has always been my favorite from him and Sabbath

Remember my dad listening to BS when I was a kid... then I was listening to his new shite as a teenager. One of the few who remained relevant across generations.

This one is very weird for me.

I’m a Sabbath fan and adore his first two solo records. But as time went on and I learned how he, and Sharon, treated the musicians in his band, and how the music I loved was written mostly by Randy and Bob, my admiration for Ozzy himself waned.

His music was incredibly influential on me, but truthfully, that was almost completely Randy. And of course, it’s amazing he made it as long as he did.

Still a part of my past is gone. Godspeed Oz. Thanks for the music. Let Randy know how much he really meant to you, and the rest of us.

Goodnight sweet Prince of Darkness.

I liked his music but he was an evil dude so no need to revere him in death like it was some kind of tragic loss.

Watch this and tell me his life is worth celebrating:

There was a ton of speculation that he was going to get euthanasia in Switzerland. Just last week Kelly Osbourne went on a rant saying it wasn’t true and her dad wasn’t dying. Hmmmm…

Yeah, Sharon saved him after he left Sabbath and was the power behind his solo career.
