Now we will never see how he would do vs Jake Paul.

Anyone on this board live in Georgia when he was governor? What was that like?

Hospice for nearly two years…that’s a tough sumbitch.
Habitat for Humanity is an incredible organization which impacted thousands of lives. The fact he put his blood, sweat, and tears into many of the projects Habitat funded really spoke a lot about the man. He was repeatedly called upon to represent the US in humanitarian talks around the world because these were causes he TRULY believed in. Just a fantastic, down to earth guy who was a true servant to the people.
If you’re too young to be familiar with his life, highly recommend taking the time to read a story or two out there now that he’s passed.

There's some nefarious stuff in Georgia politics in the 70's he was involved in, but that's Southern politics in the 70's.

A very well served Nobel prize for brokering an enduring peace between Israel and Egypt. No easy feat. I’ll be charitable and remember him for that today.
RIP.
RIP.

I guess you didn't remember how he handled the Iran hostages? Reagan was in for a half an hour and got them home. Carter came rot in hell

There are a ton of people to look at Jimmy and learn how to live a meaningful life. A great human being.

I am putting a curse on anyone who comes here to talk shite about him. And I am 4th generation Southern card carrying Republican. He was a good Christian man who wanted to help people and make the world a better place, if you have a problem with that FU.
He wasn’t a good president but he put the Nation’s interests over his own and allowed Fed Chairman Paul Volker, (the true GOAT fed chairman), to let interest rates go wild etc to fix the economy even though it cost him the election and created something stagflation which we thought was impossible. Volker allegedly told Cater what he was going to do and it my cost him the election and Carter said do what is in the best interest of the Country.
He also saw a ufo and when he pushed for some answers and got them, they say he put his head on his hands and cried for two days. (You can Google all this)
RIP Jimmy Carter

Post-presidency, Carter did more good for the world than all of our other narcissistic presidents put together.

LOL, the Iranians had already decided to release the hostages and specifically held them until Reagan took office so Carter wouldn't get credit.

Good man at heart, but a weak and foolish excuse for a President.

A very good person but horrible President

A country divided by Watergate. A crisis in the middle east with no good solutions, only bad ones. A domestic economic crisis caused by factors (energy prices) linked to the overseas crisis. He was dealt a hand that would have been tough for any president.
The country wanted and needed a decent man that attracted a cross-section of voters. Jimmy Carter met that criteria.
He also tried to bring a lot of new blood into in administration, but unfortunately they turned out to be ineffective and overwhelmed, which proved to be his undoing.
Carter and his administration’s weakness was always going to be international affairs, and it was really exposed by various events, primarily the Iranian revolution.
His domestic agenda was derailed by internal Democrat politics. The widespread coalition and support that led to his presidency quickly splintered. Carter spent a lot of time hunkered down in the White House pouting and complaining instead of working to build coalitions.
Carter’s presidency was expected to be uneventful after a tumultuous period in U.S. history, and would have been successful if he was simply a gate-keeper during a quiet time, but upheaval, both foreign and domestic, exposed his administration.

Was he though? He was bitter about getting blown the frick out by Reagan in 1980, never got over it and showed himself to be pretty petty.
There was an apocryphal story in DC circa 82 or 83, how Rosalyn told some media type "Jimmy forgives the voters and hope they have the sense to put him back in the White House where he belongs". It went around both sides enough that there's probably at least a grain of truth to it.

F him. Many members of my family lost a fortune with his BS energy policies. I have no sympathy to him or any retard that voted for that clown. Read a book bro instead of watching CNN
I think it is cute that you suggest I read a book when you didn't even read the link you posted:

The hostages were released on January 20, 1981, the day President Carter's term ended. While Carter had an "obsession" with finishing the matter before stepping down, the hostage-takers are thought to have wanted the release delayed as punishment for his perceived support for the Shah
