RIP Billy Navarre

Wow... I didn't know this... Pretty gutsy move IMO...I was 22 at that time and would have never thought of doing something this big and risky.....

He was a pretty big deal in SWLA and gave a lot back to the community.

His name was one of the most well known in the LC area.

Woah! I went to school I with a few of his kids...Ryan was my age. I grew up playing ball with them.

A cousin of his posted on Facebook he was battling cancer but apparently he died of fungal pneumonia.

Yeah, I heard the same thing. My uncle and he were good friends. Its a shame. He was a big part of the community

I had the same thing happen to me when I was going through chemo. Fortunately, I was hospitalized in time to start getting massive doses of antibiotics via IV to control the infection.

That wasn't an insult PJ. You dont even know what you are talking about. Billy was very philanthropic and was always giving away those BIG oversized checks to charities and sports leagues if you had a clue you would know this
