That wasn't an insult PJ. You dont even know what you are talking about. Billy was very philanthropic and was always giving away those BIG oversized checks to charities and sports leagues if you had a clue you would know this

RIP Billy. I'm sure he's arguing with the SPAR umpires up in Heaven.
As busy as he was, he always seemed to make the time to go to his kid's ballgames (if not coach them), in addition to donating a scoreboard for every baseball field and basketball court in Calcasieu Parish. Always respected that.

i can't recall hearing somebody of any worth complain about navarre (unlike basically all the others dealers in town except the tarvers)

Same here. From what I have been told, he raised the standard amongst the dealerships in the area.

the only complaints I know of were about some of his hiring practices.
