Surprising and hopefully overblown

quote:

Explosive devices were thrown at the PSNI in Derry as rioting flared in the city for a sixth successive night. During a press conference today, Mr Hamilton was challenged on why police were seemingly reluctant to deploy officers into the Bogside during the rioting. He said those behind the violence were trying to draw police in.

July is the time of the orange parade

Maybe the Catholics got tired of the Orangemen marching through their neighborhood

Hope it's overblown as well

Put a trade embargo on Israel, lets see what enfolds.

Well someone is orange. Didn't click the link. I just took my experience of Belfast, knowledge of the general timing of the orange parades

Orange Institution. The OrangeInstitution holds hundreds of parades throughout Northern Ireland every year. The biggest of these are usually on the twelfth of July ('The Twelfth'), in commemoration of the Battle of the Boyne.

Put two and two together and made assumptions

Yesterday was the glorious 12th! When King Billy of Orange crossed the Boyne and put the Fenian cafflicks in their place...up to his knees in Fenian blood he was! Then I had to go on ahead and marry one...aw well it’s been a good run.

I was in Belfast on the 10th, and I took a picture of one of the small bonfire structures.

I was told the bonfires have a large stack of tires in the middle, and the blue pallets are stolen. I was also told that firefighter sometimes don't show up because people throw rocks at them for merely being present. When asked why are they allowed to build and burn these structures, the tour guide said it's either that or they burn Unionist/Catholic pubs.

The thrice accursed Irish. They are a stain on all the civilized races of Man.

Irish Protestants. As I sit here insomnia, they're what MAGA would describe as comrades. What is the issue in our viewing them as Patriots?

Can you expand on the idea that Irish Protestants are Patriots?

Why yes it is, doesn’t mean the practitioners are.

Riots don’t exist anymore, all violent disturbances are now protests.

Hello! Hello! You'll know us by our noise!
We're up to our knees in Fenian blood
