I have a G19 for home protection and a Ruger 10-22 for the wife. It isn't much for use against a mob or anything like that but then again I'm not sure what is. Hope it never comes to that but my role as "man of the house" is ultimately to do whatever it is I have to do to keep us protected.
Ultimately though, I'm so far out of any mainstream urban area that if a mob ever were to be at my house the nation must be in shambles.

I don't know. Minnesota suburbs are probably defenseless and low on guns. Could be easy pickins. Now a southern state suburb would be a big mistake.

The cool thing about this conflict is that I want to shoot at both sides.

Shut down the public transportation and they won’t be able to get to the suburbs.

I could defend the Alamo for a few hours

I kind of get the feeling that the suburbs of Minnesota are filled with a tough brand of people who aren’t afraid to protect their own homes. Probably not too different from folks in the south.

Minnesota labels itself as the 'liberal haven' of the Midwest.

Sec. 9.31. SELF-DEFENSE. The actor's belief that the force was immediately necessary as described by this subsection is presumed to be reasonable if the actor:

Let motherfrickers show up here with pallets of bricks and masked soy boys. They wouldn't last 5 minutes.

There are definitely a lot of hunting and fishing baws in Minnesota. Not sure about the twin city burbs specifically.

Both sides?
That's the odd thing about this. I don't really know of any "side" defending the cop. This one is way more cut and dry than the other situations.

.308 from the rooftop before they even see your house.

Guess I’m thinking more of rural Minnesota, but we’d probably all be shocked at how many people carry in those areas.

It’s going to get ugly when they show up in the Birmingham suburbs

I haven't talked to one person about this that defended the cop. Any reasonable person should be against the police being able to take someone's life over suspicion of them having committed a non violent crime.

Depends where you're at. To put it in nola terms, the immediate suburbs are like metairie and lakeview. Easy pickings.
Further away from Minessota it starts becoming more like laplace, gretna, mandeville/covington etc where people are armed to the teeth and would happily gun down encroachers while the police turn a blind eye.

I've been cruising YouTube to see if some of the LEO/shooting/self defense channels are giving this guy the benefit of the doubt. Haven't seen one yet.
