Thousands of people just arrived on the scene in DC. Things may get a bit rowdy now.
On Stephen Ignoramous periscope.

Live right across the bridge from Georgetown in Rosslyn and there is one helicopter just chilling at the highest point I’ve ever seen a helicopter chill and then there was one other much lower just flying around in a pattern. Felt like I was in the movie Independence Day.

Yeah, they have surrounded them on the rooftop. Police are just waiting them out.

My comment on the crowd throwing rocks and water bottles at police was the reason they were gassed, not the photo op.

All good man. I was in time out a few days ago. Apparently saying "all lives matter" really messes them up. Many of those streams can be found on other apps/websites/YouTube. Just stay in your room and think about what you did.

I've been thinking about if I happened to be a legitimate criminal during all of this.
I don't think I would be rowdy and rioting like all of these people are. I think I would have a small crew of 5-10 people. We would drive to a city that was ripe for rioting and find a hotel or somewhere to stay. We would wear masks and gloves (like most everyone out there), long sleeves, nothing that stands out. Park our cars (at least 2) a mile or so out of the way.
We would stay in the background but follow around the madness, making small talk but not drawing unnecessary attention. As the others broke the windows, we would quickly move in and move out, grabbing small, high dollar items.
We would fade back into the crowd as the others set the building on fire and wait for the next window to drop. Do it all again.
Never spend more than a few minutes in the stores. Never cause or pursue a confrontation. Spend only a couple hours in the city. We then would go back to where we are staying and a transport vehicle (pickup and trailer w/ clean plates and all working lights). We would sleep a while and head out to the next city in the early morning.

A group like that could hopscotch across the country and make out with no telling how much stuff. It would take a good fence, and not holding the stuff long, but I would be a criminal and have plenty of criminal connections.
