Edit: Logically speaking, the only group of PhDs that you should naturally assume would not commit murder…ever…would be criminology profs, seeing as how they should know by now that they can’t get away with it.

Say what?

Nice parking garage. It seems like it would have a calming effect on people, not make them shoot an uninvolved cutie. It is nicely done red brick, with cream colored trim.

It also appears that it can hold a lot of cars.

1. OP starts out asking if there is something involved in the “training” of professors that causes them to snap. (Without bothering to establish if professors ‘snap’ at a rate comparable to the general population.)

2. I say there’s no reason to expect never to hear stories of profs killing as they are probably just as fallible as most people in the general population. It’s not like people with PhDs in Business Managements can never ever possess violent tendencies.

3. But I contend, logically speaking, if you think a PhD imbues someone with super rationality that they can never ever deviate from, then it’s not the Business Management profs you should wonder about when they kill someone. It’s the Criminology profs. If they’re always super rational, then they, of all people, should know the odds are against them of ever getting away with it.

Harvard should be held accountable for what they did to Kaczynski.

One of my French professors at LSU killed his wife with a lead pipe and kept her in the bathtub full of ice. I believe he had a PhD. This was early 2000’s

I remember Tulane law admitted a student who had previously bludgeoned his professor to death (and served time) as the two were involved in some homo relationship while the student was in undergrad. Tulane law was so woke they let a murder in on a scholarship lol. I’m sure other law students felt awesome leaving the law library at night with that kid roaming around.

Another professor at UAH killed his wife. He dumped her in the river the next town over but he did a shitty job hiding her body and was arrested. Here is the article from local news. LINK
