when I lived in Palm Beach county you could draw a two mile ring around my house and inside that ring would be Tiger Wood's house, Greg Norman's house et al swanky digs, there would also be a trailer park or two in that ring, it all has to do with proximity to water

This is a thing in California. People pay out the arse for the PROPERTY then put a brand new house on it after paying $1m or more for it.

Stupid as hell yet it is a thing there.
