Maine is better, the fishing is so good its a LOT easier to be self sufficient. The cold sucks arse but theres lots of creative solutions. People are super nice too.

This is the problem with these useful idiots repeating the bs mantra of “it’s just stuff. They have insurance. If you care more about items than black bodies blah blah fricking blah.”
They think this is GTA where you can blow shite up and wreak havoc and a while later it’s all hunky dory.
Innocent people are caught in this shite. Lives will be lost. Families won’t recover. Whole swaths of neighborhoods ruined and never to be the same. Some shite can’t be replaced.
The idea that if you support protests you have to accept the rioting and looting aspect is utter horse shite.
Because it ain’t just stuff when it’s your stuff. Insurance isn’t going to bring your livelihood back. And “black bodies” aren’t going to stop being stacked when they leave a trail of bodies burned black in their wake. This ain’t a race thing. People of all races get killed in senseless violence, police and otherwise, all the time.
And barely a peep on the local news.
No marches. No hashtags.
Only when it fits the agenda to the “lives matter.”
If you wanna be mad, there is a litany of names to be mad over. Children, teens, elderly, of every stripe and creed.
So don’t try to feed me the bullshite line that you suddenly care to the point of burning communities and looting businesses behind the shield of “injustice.”
That dog don’t fricking hunt.
