Or soaking wet when it is raining.

Or dead cause people in BR are not the friendliest to cyclists.

So what would your bike route be from South Harrells Ferry to Essen?

It would involve a stop at a real estate office to relocate.

We are in the city limits. Also a mile from my kid's school, 5 minutes from my wife's office and 15 from mine. We chose this house because of the location

Gentrification extending past Florida Boulevard will never happen. That area is too far gone. Folks in New Orleans thought St.Claude gentrification would extend to the 9th Ward but that area was skipped over for Arabi. Same thing is happening with OC Haley Blvd.

Your "half empty" take on every beat in this conversation is easily the most attractive thing I've ever seen.

I do it all the time. You can get pretty much anywhere in BR safely on a bike if you want.

Who in the hell approved the Government st shrinking?!?!?!?!?
Such a stupid fricking idea. All the Mid City locals love the idea. But guess what, in a city with limited cross infrastructure to use to avoid using the interstate to get around, they just took a major artery on that side of town and poo poo'd all over it. And to be completely honest, it's not going to make a difference. Who the hell is going to walk down Government Street on the nice one lane thoroughfare? Come on. My friend was mugged on Government Street during the day in the early 90's. It has gotten exponentially worse since then.

Also, tons of people. Plenty of real estate in the area. Feel free to join the party if you’re tired of spending 20 hours a week stuck behind somebody’s truck balls.

My lifestyle is the direct result of a combination of having worked harder than almost anyone I know and cumming on the tits.

No thanks. There are some nice classic homes in that area though.

bullshite it has...that's about the dumbest statement I've seen in years.

More like exponentially better. It's almost unrecognizable from the 90's there's been so much growth and change.
