It should be a law that patrons who say they are celebrating their birthday have to prove it’s really their birthday. Or clean dishes, pay double or be shot in the leg, if false.

Just left restaurant where 5 birthdays were celebrated in 1 hour, by having the staff stop time and gather all attention on a table to sing a song, put a hat on the ‘b-day patron’ and clap like we believe this to be true.

1st one, sure.

2nd one, ok.

3rd one forward…in 1 hour time…these people have 9 birthdays a year at restaurants. Bullets to legs.

PS, Happy Birthday to all celebrating today!

Probably a lot of people celebrating birthdays. Like maybe this week not necessarily today. Somewhat related there is some really weird math on pairs of people in large groups having the same birthday.

at Red Lobster they would sing some "Happy Happy Happy Birthday to you" shite, since the "Happy Birthday to You" song is still copyrighted

I'm cheap, but I'd still choose to pay double.

You know it’s legit when everyone in the party is wearing the same celebratory tshirt.

My favorites is when a mother wants birthday song and LSU is in a potential game winning drive

Wife and I were having dinner at a local Mexican restaurant and as expected, the birthday chorus came out and sang happy birthday to their special guest.
When our Hispanic waitress came to refill our drinks, I kidded her by saying since we were in a Mexican restaurant, happy birthday should have been sung in Spanish. 20 minutes later, the chorus line came back to a different table and sang happy birthday in Spanish. We left her a little extra on the top line.

I think in a group of 30ish, it’s nearly a 100 percent chance two people share a birthday.

On a day like today that feels like an appropriate reaction

I haven’t been to a restaurant that celebrates a bday since I was a teenager.
Trashy rating very very high.

1 out of every 4 tables in a full service restaurant at night is celebrating a special occasion.

Remember, people love to celebrate, so some special occasions are celebrated multiple times.

They don’t have those celebrations at Harry’s in the Maaaahsville. Only the best Pronto Pups you’ll sink your teeth in…
