This kind of story is often portrayed as a “coming of age” experience but legally, a teacher engaging in any form of sexual relationship with a child under their care is abuse. And while it’s not spoken about very often, female perpetrated sexual abuse in schools does happen.

Generally women involved in this type of teacher-pupil case do not fit the mould of what many consider a “predatory paedophile”, in that unlike other sex offenders they do not specifically enter their professions to access children. Instead my research has found that many (though not all) of these women appear to abuse because of their own unmet intimacy needs resulting from relationship problems and feelings of loneliness for example.

These women are also different from other female sex offenders in that they are generally older, more affluent, have better social skills and less issues with substance abuse.

From the study:

quote:

With respect to etiological factors the similarities included unstable lifestyle, relationship difficulties, low self-esteem, cognitive distortions and emotional self-management problems. Motivations for this sample appeared to be primarily driven by intimacy needs.

The abusers themselves tended to explain their behavior as resulting from a genuine romantic and emotional relationship

So basically we've got a bunch of hot teachers out here sexing up their students because they have "intimacy needs." Let's ignore the hypocrisy here, because this type of argument would never be acceptable for a male teacher and female student, and accept that this is actually true, because it probably is. These teachers, many of whom are married or in relationships with men their own age, are so unfulfilled sexually and emotionally that they're turning to high school kids.

Sure, most of these bitches are crazy, but what does this say about the men in those relationships? There comes a point when you got to look at those dudes and wonder how badly they dropped the ball.

We got too many dudes out here getting chubby, beating off to weird porn, bringing a terrible stroke game to the bedroom, generally giving up on the game, and whose idea of an exciting vacation is taking their wife to Disney World. Your motivation shouldn't come from a desire to keep your wife from secretly dating a high school quarterback, it should come from a desire to better yourself as a man. Gender is a spectrum, but if it weren't, we'd be taking some serious L's as males.

Its all insecurity.

Also, a lot of them probably weren't the "hot girl" in high school and love getting the popular boys.

So, you’re going to blame the men for this?

Ok

So, they aren’t getting it at home so they are chasing forbidden fruit.

Let me know when the married man banging a 16 year old comes up and let’s see how the media treats it.

As far as dissatisfaction goes, it is a two way street. Both sides come into marriage with ideas of how things will work and those usually don’t reconcile well.

So true. Males get the shite end of this deal. Out of all of the outrage stories, the drift between improper relationships - male punishment vs female punishment - makes me the most angry. Being lenient on Ms. Art teacher and hammering Coach is bullshite.

I'm all about personal accountability. If you're handling your business in the relationship and your wife leaves you for an 8th grade pitcher with a good arm, then so be it. She's crazy. wtf you gonna do about it? But if she leaves you for that kid and you're a sloppy mess who gave up on yourself years ago, then your wife still might have been crazy, but you weren't helping matters.

I knew several girls that weren't that cute or popular in HS but became pretty hot in their 20s and were a lot more slutty. Making up for lost time I guess.

Have to see pics of the broad to determine how psychologically damaged you are from the affair.
