Maybe, but sometimes the message is so bizarre that it doesn't ring true as "terrorism" for most people. It's hard to consider it terrorism when there isn't a cognizable ideology behind it.

Let's simplify it. It's a gun ban or nothing. Gun laws don't stop criminals from committing gun crimes. Unless it's a ban, it's worthless.
I would say better background checks, but I think most of us would acknowledge that we simply don't have the national apparatus to compile data on people who don't seek treatment (which is probably going to be the case a lot of the time).

Americans aren't killing each other at an alarming rate. A specific group of Americans are though.
I'll give you a hint. They are young, come from single parent families and have no sense of honor, pride, self-respect, dignity, father more illegitimate children, love drugs, cherish drug money and have no desire to better themselves.
