I think Alaska allows each citizen to grow a few plants at thier house.
I am surprised the State is taking such a hard stand on this case.
I suppose mocking government officials is never a good idea.
And yes, I consider making a donation for your pot mocking the government.

Stupid bitch just needed to wait until the regulations were in place before doing ILLEGAL shite. Not that hard.

Her attorney recently quit and joined the prosection team against her and refuses to return the retainer that was paid.
She's getting railroaded but that's the price you pay when you want to be a martyr. She did bring attention to get the legislation passed but she shouldn't have admitted to running an illegal distribution network.
They did a really poor job of keeping the process segregated, it's like the bitch never watched the Wire.

Lets take all that money that they essentially waste fighting weed (because it's so plentiful) and put it towards fighting the real problem tearing up our inner cities AND suburbs, heroin/prescription opiates.
We wouldn't even have to cut all those law enforcement jobs either (which is a big reason why they don't stop the war on drugs). Instead, refocus that money, time and energy to something more serious.
As an adult, it sickens me we can walk in to a store to buy alcohol, but can't buy some weed. Where's the freedom in that?

It already is legalized in Alaska, she's being prosecuted for selling without a license- which makes this all the more ludicous because what she was doing would be equivalent to being unlicinsed by the ATF or whoever and reselling bulk-purchased cigarettes and/or booze for a reduced price while skirting taxes. While definitely a crime, I can't imgigine the punishment for that crime would approach half a century- don't even know if she was neglecting to pay taxes on her business.
