I'm less stressed when I drive in mid-town Manhattan than I am when I drive in Baton Rouge.

Having just returned from Dallas, I'm shocked not to see them higher than BR.

Dallas was ranked #9 on the unsafest list
Houston was ranked #15 on the unsafest list

I'e been rear ended twice in the last year at onramp lights. This last time I stepped out of my car right into a pothole full of water. The lady that hit me was scared to death.

I've witnessed guys getting out of their trucks to go and try and fight the person driving the truck in front of them.

I have a son who is just reaching driving age. It really is difficult to teach him how to drive in this town. I had it easy, learning to drive in small town Louisiana. It must suck to have to learn the ropes in the second most dangerous driving environment in the U.S.

Yes-it's far too easy to get a license. Stiffen up the test and enforce if you don't pass you get no license. Period. No b/s exceptions. Driving with no insurance is illegal. ENFORCE THE LAW DAMNIT!! Get the deadbeat drivers off of the road.
