You’re right. It doesn’t matter what they’re called. That’s why I pointed out that their policies are almost identical to modern day Democrats. You can argue semantics, but it doesn’t change the point I made above about the similarities. The left are the violent, anarchistic ones. They always have been, no matter how much the media wishes for it, and tells you it’s the right. So, the comparison to the night of long knives is inaccurate.

They usually support, help, and/or directly vote for liberal to leftist candidates. The Dem party has moved very much to the left with leftists moving from outliers to becoming “mainstream” members of the Party. If this large shift didn’t leave moderates behind then they weren’t really moderates in the first place.

There isn’t a party left for the moderates. Both parties are so involved with identity politics and pissing contests that it feels like the sensible people in this country don’t have a home.

Really? Being against open-border immigration seems pretty straightforward. Being against the idea that climate change justifies authoritarian overreach seems pretty straightforward. Being against censoring “misinformation” just because it hurts someone’s feelings seems pretty straightforward.
So does opposing men pretending to be women. So does rejecting child genital mutilation. So does supporting law and order and consequences for felons. And being against race-based hiring quotas? Also pretty straightforward. I dunno.
