It’s for a 10 day trip on the west coast during May/June. I’m finding different answers so I’m just seeing what y’all paid for one.

Mileage is what kills you on a big trip like that
Check Outdorsey maybe fly and rent or if you want to drive point a to b Get on outdoorsy and email owners see what the response is you may get a deal and negotiate fees

One of my partners just did it for too many people at his beach house for family Xmas, he was very happy to have it and had no trouble. It was one of the Mercedes conversions

Seems like I researched this not to long ago and it was about $250-$300 per day.

You will pay through the arse for mileage, then have to buy gas on top of that.

In my research, it's the mileage charge that eats you up. If you plan to park and camp/stay, might be viable. But doesn't that sorta defeat the purpose of having an RV?

Shop around, there are some that are reasonable, some that sound reasonable but will kill you on mileage, and there are a few that will let you have it for real cheap to relocate it for them. Last option requires a little flexibility on your part. They’re a lot of fun though.

We just rented a class A RV to take to the rose bowl from Vegas and it was about 2k for 4 nights and included 600 miles. Would've been 29 cents a mile over that. We also hired a driver.

Where did the driver sleep? I’d feel weird with a stranger sleeping in there.

We paid to fly her back to Vegas and then back to LA on the 2nd.
