I'm planning a trip and would like to fly to Philadelphia and fly back from Pittsburgh.
Can I rent a car at the Philly airport and drop it off in Pittsburgh?

Why wouldn't you just ask enterprise?

Yes. When you book online, it will ask pickup and drop off location. You may pay more depending on company.

Yes. They might charge you a one way fee thought. National is apparently the cheapest when it comes to one way fees. You also might not get unlimited mileage.

Yes. Sometimes the rates will be reasonable where you can drop off without a fee. If there's a drop fee, look for a discount code that would waive the drop fee.

Yes, but sometimes it costs more. When you rent a car online, you usually specify a pick-up location and a drop-off location.

Yes, they call them one-way rentals. You will pay extra...a lot extra.

No. Rental companies never allow that and cars can only be driven in a defined space with specific pick up and drop times. You will be charged with car theft and hunted.

Seriously? Have you never rented a car? Is this a legit topic for the OT?

They can take the reservation, but they can't hold the reservation.

Also expand your options. I've rented Suburbans and Tahoes on several occasions for cheaper than the economy option because the company needed them relocated.

Yes, you can. Be sure to shop around, though. I did that recently and enterprise wanted $1700 but budget only charged $500.
