Any of you have advice on how to enter the remote work world? Strong cpu software, business, & finance background.
Interested in moving away from Louisiana. Possibly another country, but wish to work for a U.S. based company.
Same here. Send anything y'all find to me as well. I'm probably cheaper than the OP.

My employer is fully remote (we don't even have a corporate office). K-12 education software focusing on library circulation and asset tracking/inventory. Follett Software.
I'm on the sales side but I expect we could always use another finance person.

Strong cpu software,
Just the way you wrote this tells me it’s a lie.

This. I went fully remote due to Covid and haven't returned to an office since.
It is a bit strange and surreal at times, but I'm early 40s with 3 young kids & my wife works remote also. It's the greatest thing that's ever happened to me. I'm blessed to be able to spend so much time with my family and not waste my mornings and early evenings commuting through rush hour.
If I was younger and single I could see it being lonely.

Prepare for crippling depression. Post-COVID remote work has not been good to the mental well-being of any of my friends.
This is a serious problem. My wife manages about 300 remote workers across the country in a pretty high pressure field with tight deadlines and serious money at stake and they have had issues. They do a lot of team building and socialize intentionally daily to mitigate it to some extent. It is a very real problem.

Wow you sound very valuable.
Seriously, this doesn’t read well. You want to work remotely on my own time at a high paying job. These types of jobs are earned.

Never said anything about payscale. I’m also very confident I can become an immediate, valuable asset to a company.
I’m simply looking for helpful advice on how to transfer my skills to work remotely. Not interested in negative, unhelpful opinions my friend.
