You’ve conveniently hopped from the founders to “government.” They are not the same. As a matter of fact, the founders accomplished most of what they did in the absence of a formal government.
You can't possibly be that naive.

One could argue that in the immediate aftermath of the Revolutionary War, with a near vacuum of functional government, the founders could have more easily grasped absolute power than create the republic that exists (tenuously) today. I’m sorry that you hate your country.

The ole, "you want Les Miles fired, so obviously you hate LSU."

That was based on the cumulative tone of your posts throughout this thread.
Do you care to address the rest of the post or would you rather just continue to vilify the founders?

Don’t put words in my mouth, I never claimed that this was a perfectly constructed republic. As long as humans are involved, there will always be corruption and grasps for power. Off the rails? There have been multiple times in our history that the people living in those times believed that it was going off the rails. It has endured, though, and, despite my use of “tenuous”, I believe that it can continue to endure. I won’t deny that I do see forces at work in government leadership today that seem determined to divide us for their own gains.

No, dumbass. What do you think “all men are created equal” means?

Where are our Jeffersons? Where are our Washingtons? Where are our Adams? Where are our Hancocks? Those men knew what it meant to sign their name and signed regardless. Where are our torch-bearers of liberty in this day and age!
A modicum of ever dwindling prosperity, a school system that specializes in stupidity, a lack of ambition to understand what true virtue is, a lack of faith, and a government whose sole mission is to do any and everything to extinguish the ability to self govern.
It will circle around again one day soon. The elites have already overplayed their hand and have lost control of their artificial means of currency valuation. People are growing weary of their decadence and opulence. All we are missing is a real, young, charismatic leader to wake people up and put a fire into them.
At some point they will try to take our guns, and then we’ll see the nouveau founding fathers emerge.

One half of my family didn't come here because they wanted to, they were prisoners in England and England brought their prisoners to America, specifically in areas that are now Georgia and South Carolina... They hand nothing and it lead to many decades of family becoming sharecroppers.
While all of that is true, I am bullshitting. I am glad those sons a bitches were brought over. If not for that I would not exist and while this board would be happy, I love me so..

I would introduce you to Aaron Burr, but your points are pretty…pointless.
