Driving my 3rd grader this morning we had to go a slightly different way and passed a park. He recalled it said “remember when it had yellow tape around all the equipment.”

Yes, I do. Sad that young kids were subjected to this none sense and that’s his memory of a place we’ve been many times.

I could list quite a few, people arrested for being alone on a beach, etc., but what are others you experienced in this shameful time?

On this issue alone, no one should vote for a Dem again. Of course, there are a myriad of other reasons why they should never vote for a Dem as well.

We went absolutely batshit, and it was fueled by hysterical and inaccurate media coverage. It was serious, but we absolutely threw the baby out with the bathwater for that by ruining a lot of lives in the process.

All that to justify mail in voting with no signature or ID verification....

Getting kicked out of playgrounds when we were the only ones there was a low point for me. Some places actually took the goals off the backboards so you couldn’t shoot basketball.

Talk about letting inmates run the asylum.

ETA: the silver lining is that there is going to be a strong pushback from the right AND moderate dems if the government tries to do anything similar to this in the future.

This surfer was deemed a moron by media for surfing alone during Covid.

-wiping groceries down with Lysol
-Wearing crochet masks
-Setting up entire "outside" seating areas that were basically a whole building on the side walk.
-Having to show a vaccine card or negative covid test in Orleans parish to do anything

The celebration and canonization of a lifetime criminal piece of shite who died of a drug overdose.

2020 shed light on who truly valued liberty, and who just caved to the power hungry fascists in government that were trying desperately to oust a political outsider at the time.

I thought it was great when restaurants would set-up the seating outside, then purchase a large tent to protect their customers from the weather. But they were in compliance with the outside dining only restrictions

Can go to a bar and eat/drink/socialize w/ no masks, bar must close at 10pm because apparently that's when COVID spreads

There will be a media driven frenzy before the 2024 elections. Either they'll invent something else to be fearful of, or they'll find a racial wedge issue, or both (which was 2020).

The absurdity is a political party using every aspect of a virus scare to win an election, and the actuality of even smart people not seeing the absolutely tyrannical and nonsensical ongoings of the CDC, local and federal governments, race baiters and the medical profession for what they were. Just grand theater to confound the masses while a giant scam is being pulled off in front of our faces.

the City thought they could prevent people from going to the parks by not cutting the grass, but my neighborhood rallied together and maintained the park ourselves all summer

The American MSM is responsible for so much harm and division in this country. They are evil.

The things the Dems and the Media did just to make sure Trump wouldn't win again should be obvious to the American people...but sadly most people are too stupid to see what's right in front of them.

So many posters here were for it. Go back and read anywhere in the first 500 pages of the OG Covid thread. It’s unreal what people where saying and what they were agreeing with. People shouldn’t be shocked that the government locked us down for so long. We allowed them to willingly.

Canceled vacations
Playgrounds blocked off
Beaches closed
Indoor dining closed
Graduations canceled
Proms canceled
Barbers shut down
School closings

It was easily the biggest government overreach in American history.

Please have a seat in outside area, where we’ve set up an enclosed tent on some gravel, it’s similar to the inside but it’s outside.

No one with any sense can logically explain how a restaurant patron had to wear a mask to his/her table because of covid, but was safe to remove it once seated !

It is important that they never forget what government out of control looks like.
