Yep, I had several strings in a storage bin in a big wad. Before trying to untangle them, I happened to see one of the plugs and found that one of the strings didn’t work...I dumped the whole tub in the trash and bought some new ones.

This thing is legit. I have 8 strings of exterior lights and a tree that are at least 10 years old. This thing saved my marriage

Yeah, I remember that was my job as a kid.. To keep an eye out for lights that go out so my dad could replace the bulb.
