I got bored and did some internet searches.
Most atheistic city in the U.S. - Seattle, Washington - 10%
Most Protestant city in the U.S. - Nashville, Tennessee - 67%
Most Catholic city in the U.S. - Lafayette, Louisiana - 50%

For Catholicism, Lafayette isn’t surprising, but I thought it would be somewhere like El Paso, San Antonio, Santa Fe, Boston, Chicago, Buffalo, Baltimore

Basically 100% of Mexicans are Catholic and there are US cities that are basically 100% Mexican

Yeah. I could see Lafayette being up there, but I would think some of the border cities like El Paso or Brownsville would beat it out.

We (Louisville, KY) sit at about 20% Catholic.
About half of folks here who identify as religious are Evangelical, mostly Baptist (about 30%).
