Well, if you have a son it’s easier for them not to make a mess when they are Little.
Really the to the floor models are better overall for spray and leakage.

Harvard did a study. Best way to reduce splash is to stand as close as possible and aim down along the back.
Floor urinals do the best job of minimizing the splash.
Plus, I would rather pee on shoes than on pants.
