yep, it started out as just two guys, but that has grown into a party that ranges between 6 to 9 people.

You shouldn't be so hard up for a tip. let them stroke your ego and give them an eye full of pleasantries. Don't beat around the bush. If they make you feel uncomfortable, tell them straight up that you value their service to the restaurant. Mention that you have a girlfriend. Don't let these guys dick you around. If they harass you some more, then piss on em.

The most uncomfortable thing was definitely the guy trying to hug me as they were leaving. I can handle jokes for the most part, but a combo of sexual innuendo and then trying to physically come in contact with me was way too much.

Yeah. just say lightly, my girlfriend will get jealous if you hug me. They should get the message that physical contact is crossing a boundary. say it jokingly but put it out there that your personal boundary will be respected no matter what.

Sounds like they may have had a few more cocktails than usual before dinner and got a little obnoxious. I wouldn't read all that much into it. Women get hit on all the time and manage to brush it off without a confrontation.
