in response to this quote and to the "what differnece does it make questions", it shows decencey as a human being. as was said in this thread, dems have no shot at LA, so how is it in Trumps self interest. He has this state and knows it. he came down b/c thats what a leader should do and yes, maybe it will help him win another state but none the less, he's doing what he should do.

No question, Trump is known for being selfless. Such a humble man he is. Seriously, if you think Trump shows characteristics of a "good leaders" then you really have no ability to read people. I really don't mean to sound like a dick, but this is the first time I have ever heard/read someone say "you know what, that donald trump sure is a good leader".

A leader doesn't get in front of a crowd and just start spitting off at the mouth saying whatever he feels like saying in the moment. A political leader does not become a candidate for president then create so much division within his own party.

Look, give the guy a hand clap, he did come down here. Whatever he gave was appreciated, but if you think for one second it had nothing to do with the fact he is running for president then clearly you are one gullible SOB.

The only thing I give him credit for is knowing how to promote himself. Its what got him where he is. I bet you believe wrestling is real.

i'm not die hard trump supporter. i voted for kasich the primaries. i like that he's not a politician and not worried about being politically correct. the definition of a leader is someone who does things differently and follows his own path. doing what others did before you doesnt make you a leader. and no, i dont believe in wrestling.

and no, i know that trump wouldnt have done anything if he wasn't running for president but as a presedential canidate he did what a president should do.

Yea...you can bet he'll do all kind of "photo ops" with those slime balls! A Democrat has no problem with putting their party above anything if it advances their liberal causes.

When someone runs for political office, especially if they are an elected official already, they are a politician.

Every politician (or person running for office) is worried about being politically correct, even if they perceive themselves not to be. You number one goal when running for office is to get votes so anyone who half arse knows what they are doing, knows what group of people they can afford to piss off in order to gain the support of other groups.

A politician has two jobs, get elected and stay elected. You don't do that by not carrying about "political correctness". If someone represents an area that is majority white wealthy people, do you think they will say "look at all these white people earning all of this money, living high off the horse. More of their money needs to be given to the government to help the less fortunate". You know what, the less fortunate will think "that guess doesn't care about political correctness, but I know one thing, he isn't getting re-elected".

I know this has been posted at least a half dozen times: He donated the truckload of supplies, toys, and food you are ridiculing him for unloading.

He's just angry.

It's ok.
You see this from leftists that don't give. They're angry that other people do.

Well. Whatever the reason, it's stupid to ignore facts....and I'm sure that link will be ignored by someone that entrenched in the position that a politician's need to give and Louisiana's need for supplies isn't mutually beneficial.

Leftists should be furious at Obama and Hillary, who are still at Martha's Vineyard this weekend celebrating Bill Clinton's 70th birthday. They didn't feel it was necessary to cut that extravagant celebration short to make a trip down to Baton Rouge.

3 months before a major election.....so it took a politician to draw attention to it.

It's starting to get traction now though.

But even if they did drop what they were doing and come down here, you'd just run your stupid mouth about how it was disingenuous & strictly for political gain. You don't really want a visit from either of them, so shut the frick up & enjoy the next 4yrs under Hillary's rule.

No, of course not, someone might be offended. Instead, be nice to them, whisper sweet nothings in their ears, while breaking it off in their arse. Lol

I see your into political correctness. How's that working out for you? At least your not getting offended right?>

What other catastrophe has Trump helped? Do you really thing he was being genuinely altruistic? I'm too old to be fooled.

Do you think the people using the items he donated give a frick about whether or not it was "genuinely altruistic"?

Where do you people come from?
