I will be honest, I still don't fully understand the whole trans things. A transgender is someone who is one sex, but identifies with the other right? I assume these people developed physically as one sex, but their hormones were developed opposite of their physical sex.
Then their are those who refer to themselves as "they" "them" or whatever (if anyone watches the show Billions, I am referring to the person on there that refers to themself, which I know isn't correct, but if it is one person it should be self instead of selves right?). What's going on with this group? What makes them neutral?
I know it is something people don't just decide they want to do, but I can see how it is difficult for them in terms of how they are perceived in society, but on the other hand, they should be aware that it isn't something a lot of people are all that familiar with. I know I have never met anyone who I knew was a transgender. I am not the type of person who would treat someone different because of it, but there are a lot of simple minded people who would have a problem with it so again, they are not really accepted by "everyday" society.

Trans are mentally ill, and the majority will kill themselves at some point in his/her life (facts, not opinion). They are such a small portion of the population outside of liberal world, that I don't give a frick about them or their whining. It's not my fault they're fricked in the head.

Oh, it's ridiculous alright. In fact, I saw one of 'em in DC a couple years ago. It had a beard and boobs...a beard AND boobs. I took a picture of it. Not to long ago that would have been the main attraction at the carnival.

The whole victim mentality annoys the ever living shite out of me. I have a son with special needs who uses a wheelchair to get around. A 13 year old in a wheelchair gets stares and awkward interactions. Not from everyone, of course. But some people either just don't know what to do or completely dismiss him as a person. He can do nothing about his condition (other the what we already do). He doesn't complain or make a thing of it. In fact, most of the time he is oblivious to it. I notice because I'm his mom and extra sensitive to his comfort. Which is dumb because he is comfortable. These poor me people need to spend some time with people with actual disabilities and see what the world is like to people with real differences. Not just awkward feelings.

They are mentally ill and represent .01% of society, just ignore them and move on.
