Refrigerator help and washing machine rec

I understand there are some experts around here.
Whirlpool GR2SHKXKS01 - space between freezer and fridge was getting hot, it think it is the condenser fan that I found not blowing on back of the fridge. I flicked the fan and it started spinning freely, cooled down pretty fast. Went ahead and vacuumed everything clean front and back. Problem is that the fan doesn't start on its own, I need to give it a push, then it will run until it cycles off again. Is this the fan motor or is there a start capacitor I should look at?
Tired of my HE side-load washer. Whats a more reasonably priced alternative to a speed queen top-load that I can get a decent life out of? Not keen on a used one, unless its someone I can trust.

You can get a direct drive wd set from the early 2000s made by Whirlpool/Kenmore on Craigslist for $100 all day long and that dry will Outlast your grandchildren.

Bite the bullet and get a speed queen. I bought a GE recently that lasted 34 days before the transmission went out. I promptly brought it back and got a speed queen.

Purchased 'top of the line' GE washer and dryer less than a year and a half ago. Have had one service call for the dryer, but four for the washer. I purchased the four year extended warranty on both. I will likely sell both before then.
Prior to these I had Maytags. Had one service call in 14 years and that occurred within two weeks of delivery.

I reads a ton of reveiws for run of the mill washers (Amana, Whirlpool, etc), and ending up purchasing the Whirlpool WTW4816FW. Priced at $449.00 locally, but got it for $399.00 on a labor day sale.
Ten years ago, we bought a $1000.00 front loading HE and had problems, so we sent it back. Got instead a $1000.000 Cabrio top loading HE, which flooded my basement on the first load (had a pinched hose). Returned it for a middle of the road Kenmore which is just now burning out after ten years in a family of 5. Well, we are four now, with my oldest in college, and I am pleased to stay middle of the road.

Maybe napoleon can weigh in on this, but the ol boy at Stantons said that the Feds are making speed queen pull the washer with the knobs b/c you can make if fill up with as much water as you want. Basically hold the reset down and it continuously fills up until you let the reset go.
That being said, I've never seen that guy in there and I've been a good bit over the past 2 years looking at and buying new upgraded appliances for the house.

the fan is bad. Heat between the doors is sign of bad fan or dirty coils. if a fan is stopped with power, it's bad. Even if it starts with a flick.

All new top load non speed queen units kinda suck.
Maybe the LG OR the frigidaire. I hate the current whirlpool washer line and I wouldn't give ge to my worst enemy.

Cad, I got the holy grail the other day. I was taking pictures because I was shocked how well made it is.
2001 speed Queen commercial.
Was in a hair salon. Has three settings and a start button. Uses the motor design from a classic maytag with the parts of a whirlpool. But all the commercial grade all metal stuff.
The salin tossed it because it had a bad lid switch.
It's a beast. Don't know whether to sell it or preserve it. Lol

A corporate company asked me to do an install and haul, but they only needed the hall.
But, I'm not above grabbing certain units from the road. If I know I can make a quick $100-200 I'm stopping. Lol.

new fan installed, kicked right on when I plugged fridge back in, blowing with much more force than the old one. Looking good and I'm only out 65$. Thanks!
