The protesters are free to start their own club and keep out non-saggers.

FB reviews not too happy with dress code policy

Bland food & over priced bowling. Also has a strong odor of gentrification throughout the entire establishment. Hard pass

Just because you took down your racist, yuppie, gentrifying of a dress code doesn't change anything. We will never set one foot or spend one dollar in your racist establishment.

gentrification with a dress code. I guess they forgot that they're practically across the street from the Family and Youth Service Center which serves THE MOST VULNERABLE POPULATIONS IN BATON ROUGE. Do you not want that population to come and play there too?

Sorry I didn’t see this thread earlier

So when did Helmet go off the rails? She lectures white people on what to say and how to act around black folks. Who died and left her as ambassador to the African American community. Does she think that all black people think and act the same? If you ask me that’s pretty racist.

This is why you never bow to these people. They give absolutely no fricks about apologies and will never accept them. It's like using a mop to get rid of the 3 feet of water in your flooded house.

She's the white savior of black people because she thinks they can't fix anything without her.

Agreed. It's a no win situation. I wouldn't have pulled the post. There was nothing wrong with it.
I actually gained a lot of respect for Calandro's a few years ago when they didn't back down to the crowd screaming that they were racists and needed to start accepting EBT.

I thought they bent the knee

I’m sure this all blew up when they decided to apologize. If they didn’t intend to be racist they should’ve stuck by their dress code. Pusses
Posted on 7/16/19 at 10:00 pm to upgrayedd
They apologized, but they still don’t take EBT.
These situations bring out the usual suspects in the comments and their small group of minions who champion everything said usual suspect(s) post.

To ask the same question I did on the other thread: does this chick post here? How do we know the kid returning story? I feel like I’ve missed something important

They definitely don't accept EBT. We shop at the Siegen location fairly regularly.
Not sure what became of the lady accused of shoplifting a few years ago that clearly wasn't. I can see her side of the story. Just glad they didn't cower to the Facebook mob afterwards.

That one was fun because the usual suspects got caught in the classic circular racism argument.
They claimed racism for not accepting EBT, but in order to run with that premise, you have to accept the premise that only black people are on food stamps, which we know would be suicide if you actually said that.

People here know her and have confirmed

They’re doing it again today with the dress code

These poor fools are getting absolutely destroyed on Facebook.

Of course they are.
"Black people shouldn't be expected to treat staff and other patrons with respect!"

That’s less fun. I was hoping for a twenty page thread on the subject
